Loading ...Offices and commercial spaces accounted for 37 percent of the total of investments unfolded in the first half of 2007, according to a market survey conducted by the relevant consulting company Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL).Real estate investments in the industrial sector held the next place.
The main source of capitals that entered Romania in the first half of 2007 were Austrian funds through Immoeast, Europolis or CA Immo and their activity intensified in terms of number and size alike.
The JLL survey also reports the supremacy of Austrian funds is likely to continue, with British, Irish, German, Spanish or even American funds being expected to gain ground.

According to the information supplied by the survey, the investors' inertest cover the entire commercial spectrum from hypermarkets, DIY shops, retail parks, and outlets, up to commercial centers.
The market of investments in industrial spaces maintained at a low share from the overall volume of investments. Their value reached 74 million euros, being represented by two transactions.
The biggest investment at the beginning of the year was represented by the forward purchase contract concluded by the Austrian investments fund Immoeast with developer TriGranit, through which it purchased the Plus Center Constanta project. The deal was made for 185 million euros.
On the market of offices, the main player remained Immoeast that in May purchased S-Park business center, developed by Primavera Development for 90 million euros.
