The Romanian products were tested by the laboratories of four wide-circulation papers from the USA and Great Britain, Smartnews say. The results confirm the involvement of the team of Romanian experts in having developed one of the most advanced data protection technologies.
The Americans are advised to buy BitDefender. The well-known North-American "PC Magazine", with almost five million readers, tested BitDefender Total Security 2008, offering the first positive review to the new series. The experts have praised the initiative of BitDefender address increasingly complex needs, trying to include the entire market, not only the specialised one. Even without taking into account the new modules, as Back-Up, Tune-Up and Game Mode (dedicated to online games' players), PC Magazine considers that the new Bitdefender version is much improved to the previous generation, especially due to the antispam and antispyware modules.
In Great Britain, 50 per cent of the IT managers have read about the performances of Romanian technology. In its September edition, the impressive magazine "PC ADVISOR" awarded with a gold medal the IT desktop security solution – BitDefender Total Security 2008. The products were evaluated taking into account the lightness of usage, the number of functions, the price-functionality ratio. The total score that brought the golden medal was of 4.5 stars out of 5.
