Indoor advertising market, worth 4.5 million euros in 2007

Advertising agency Indoor Media estimates a turnover of 1.4 million euros in 2007 and a market share of some 30%, in the context in which, according to the estimates of Mariana Stirbu, executive manager of Indoor Media, the indoor advertising market has a value of 4.2 million – 4.5 million euros.
 
“The market will record in 2008 a growth of 75% – 100%, as it is a young market, which has not reached maturity yet, and the growth rate is very big,” Mariana Stirbu told Business Standard daily. According to her, at present, the indoor agencies on the Romanian market do not share the same target.
 
“In a broad sense, Monopoly Media, Oops Media, Elevate and Brand Management may be considered competitors. The most important indoor advertising agencies (Elevate, Oops Media, Indoor Media, Brand Management, Salon Style, Monopoly Media, Monopoly Construct and Sugar Media) have set up the Romanian Association of Indoor Advertising (ARIA), this being the first step towards the market’s maturity level, explains Mariana Stirbu.
 
Indoor Media posted 2006 turnover of 700,000 euros and in 2007 it expects the turnover to rise over 50% from 2006.
 
At present, the agency operates exclusively on the Bucharest market, but one of the company’s 2008 objectives is to expand nationwide.
 
The present client portfolio of Indoor Media includes companies such as Vodafone, Coca-Cola, Nokia, Danone, Procter&Gamble, Brau Union, Nestle, Colgate-Palmolive, Orange, Adidas, Porsche Romania, KFC, A&D Pharma, Romtelecom, Unilever, Cosmote, Beidersdorf, ING and Samsung.
 
Indoor Media entered the indoor advertising market in 2004, and in April 2006 it joined the MediaPro group.
