Loading ...The European MP Iuliu Winkler attended on December 20 the monthly session of the Export Council in Bucharest and presented a report on the issues debated in the Committee on International Trade of the European Parliament.
The MEP, former Co-chairman of the Export Committee over 2005-2007, voiced support for the promotion of Romanian exporters’ interests in the Committee and pledged to inform the Export Council on the issues debated in EP on EU’s trade with the global partners.
According to Co-chairman Mihai Ionescu’s proposal, representing the private sector in the Export Council, Iuliu Winkler will be permanent guest of the Council and representative of this forum in the Committee on International Trade.
“The Committee will debate in 2008 issues with impact on the Romanian exporters, and it is important that the Romania’s interests are exposed in these debates. I want to build a relation of mutual information and cooperation with the Export Council in Romania for the benefit of domestic

The Export Council is a consultative body with the Romanian Government, including representatives of the ministries with economic attributions, economic associations, Parliament and employers’ associations.
