Romanian Minister of Economy and Finance Varujan Vosganian said on April 14 that the emergency ordinance was to be amended in this respect, so that ambiguities of the present law are removed through clearer wording and with the budgetary balance to be thus ensured.
"The new wording states that gift vouchers can be granted within the limits established in the state budget or, depending on the given situation, within the available revenues of the local administrations. This is about revenues from local taxes and duties," Vosganian had said.
