The Graduating Class of the Orthodox Theology Faculty ‘Patriarch Justinian’ of Bucharest Have Taken the Oath

Today, June 24, on the Feast of the Nativity of St. John the Forerunner, the graduating class of the Orthodox Theology Faculty 'Patriarch Justinian' of Bucharest have taken the oath of faith. The event took place at the St. Catherine church after the celebration of the Holy Liturgy by professors of the Orthodox Theology Faculty.
 
The prestigious event was attended by His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, who congratulated and blessed the graduates, as well as the staff of this academic institution. Also, His Beatitude underlined the important connection between the oath of faith ceremony and today's feast.
 
This year, 544 students have graduated from the Orthodox Theology Faculty 'Patriarch Justinian' of Bucharest. The college operates within the University of Bucharest and under a double subordination, to the Romanian Patriarchate and the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research.
