Romania's President Traian Basescu pays an official visit to the Brussels headquarters of the North Atlantic Alliance.
According to the Presidential Administration, the Romanian Head of State will meet NATO Secretary-General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, an occasion on which they will approach the decisions made by the allies at the Bucharest Summit as well as the stage of their implementation.

They will also approach the prospects and agenda of the future NATO Summit to be held in Strasbourg and Kehl next spring, which will mark the 60th anniversary of the North Atlantic Alliance.
During his visit President Traian Basescu will attend the conference organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, where he will deliver a speech.
