Information in English

Operational leasing company DiRENT Romania estimates a turnover of 5 million euro in 2008, twice bigger than in 2007, and a market share of 10% versus 5% last year, the company informs.

The growth will be generated by an increasingly bigger number of clients. We expect the number of Romanian clients to grow in the portfolio of DiRENT. In four months, the number of our clients doubled versus the start of this year, said the CEO of DiRENT Romania, Effie Valsamaki.

"The Bucharest subsidiary became operational in April 2006. Our immediate plans are to develop and consolidate even more the company’s operations on the local market and diversify the portfolio of services," said Dimitris Rompopoulos, president and CEO of DiRENT Greece.

DiRENT was set up in Greece in 1998 and started its Romanian operations in April 2006, when it opened a subsidiary in Bucharest. After two years of presence on the local market, it reached a car fleet of 450 units and a turnover of 2 million euro.
