Loading ...Ikea Romania will register sales of 120 million euros without VAT, after three or four years of operation, general manager Ikea Romania Cornel Oprisan told a press conference on August 12.
“In the first year of operation, the fiscal year 2007-2008, Ikea sales will reach 80 million euros, in the next three or four years, we estimate annual sales will reach one hundred million euros, without VAT,“ Oprisan said.

He added he couldn’t rule out the opening of a new store in Bucharest, and extension in the country.
“We can open one more store in Bucharest, the market allows us to do so. We now have 70,000 customers weekly and our store sells 8,000 families of products, “ Oprisan also said.
In a month, Ikea sells 1.1 million products. It counts 21 suppliers in Romania.
Ikea launched on August 12 a new catalogue of products, it has invested 1.3 million euros in drawing it up, promoting and distributing it.
