Companies estimate economic growth in industry, constructions, services and trade sectors

Activity in the processing industry, constructions, retail and services sectors is to record growth in the interval between July and September this year, compared with the previous three months, according to economic studies carried out by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Such estimations highlight the maintaining of an upward trend in the third quarter of the year, both in terms of volume of production in the processing industry and stock of contracts and orders.
The export of Romanian products will also see a stability trend on the European Union (EU) market.
 
The number of employees in the processing industry will drop in exchange. According to estimates, the number of employees will decrease more in the crude oil processing field, coal coking, treatment of nuclear and metallurgical fuels.
The prices of industrial products are to record a more significant growth compared with the previous month.
 
According to estimates in July 2008 for the next three month, the activity in constructions is to record a continuous upward trend in terms of volume of production, correlated with the stock of contracts and orders. Moreover, an upward trend is to be seen in this sector related to the number of employees too.
 
The increase in the price of the construction works is to stand in the interval ahead at approximately the same value with the estimates in the previous month.
 
Managers estimate for the next three months an overall business growth. According to their forecasts, the economic situation is to maintain on an upward trend, with the order to suppliers to see a positive evolution.
The economic situation in the services sector in the latest three years appreciated as having improved per overall activity.
 
Ranking first in terms of increase in the demand for services (turnover) are the large companies (250-499 employees), followed by small and medium-sized companies (1-49).
 
The growth in the services sector (turnover) is to maintain in the next three months, with the number of employees also to increase slightly.
In the opinion of the managers, the sale prices in the sector are to see an upward trend in the next three months.
