Loading ...Roman lorry maker of Brasov (120 km north of Bucharest) earned a net profit worth 861,755 lei during the first half of the year, compared to the losses totaling 14.144 million lei the Company reported over the same time span in 2007, Rasdaq data say.
Roman Brasov ‘s turnover grew 2.25 times from 41.511 million lei in the H1 of 2007 to 93.524 million lei over Jan-June 2008, whereas its revenues were 3.4 times higher, up to 80.056 million lei and the expenditure went up 2.1 times, attaining 79.194 million lei.
Roman SA is also known as Autocamioane Brasov, a traditional Romanian lorry maker and a full supplier to the machine building industry, well known both at home and abroad.
The Company’s main shareholder is Pro Roman Brasov that owns 91.49% of the stocks, 3.06% of them being held by the Romanian Privatization Authority (AVAS) and 5.45% by other shareholders.
