The total volume of loans given in H1 2008 through the brokerage houses that are member of the Romanian Association of Loan Brokers /ARBC/ exceeded 195 million euro, informs ARBC.
The volume of the mortgage-backed loans represents 51% of total loans brokered, up significantly versus 2007, when their share stood at 36%.
The brokered loans in Swiss francs rose in H1 2008 to 53% of total brokered loans versus 31% in 2007, whereas the volume of the brokered loans in euro dropped in the same period from 59% to 38%. The volume of the brokered loans in lei remained below 10% and recorded even a slight decline.
ARBC was set up in June 2008. The 8 founding companies are Kiwi Finance, DBSol Consulting, Perfect Finance (Credit Zone), Finzoom Financial Services, Rapid Finance Consult, International Brokers, Easy Credit Invest and Creditlink.
At the 11 September General Assembly, the ARBC members adopted the Professional Ethics Code, whose main objective is the promotion of the basic principles that will guide the activity of the Association’s members in the relation with clients, lenders (banks and non-banking financial institutions), authorities and the other loan brokers.
