Carmaker Dacia presented on October 2 at the Paris Motor Show its Logan Multi Convivial Vehicle (MCV) facelift, the company informs The launch of the Logan MCV facelift follows the release of the Dacia Sandero hatchback in June and of the Logan facelift in July. With a design tailored to the new visual identity of the brand, with an improved Lauréate version, Dacia’s Logan MCV facelift is yet a new element of the car manufacturer’s policy to rejuvenate the Dacia range.
The new Logan MCV maintains all the facilities that paved its way to commercial success – with almost 150,000 units marketed since October 2006: an unbeatable price/inside room ratio, a remarkable modular look, acknowledged multi-purpose usage and reliability.
The Dacia Logan MCV facelift will be marketed in Europe starting November 2008, with a 3 year or 100,000 km guarantee.
The model is produced at the ISO 14 001 certified Mioveni-based plant and 95% of the vehicle mass is reusable and 5% of the plastic is recycled.
In the engine versions of 1.5 dCi 70 HP and 1.5 dCi 85HP of the new Dacia Logan MCV, the CO2 emissions do not exceed 140g/km, and 137 g/km, respectively.
Dacia Logan MCV enjoyed remarkable commercial success right from the moment it was launched, asserting itself as a one-of-the-kind product. The clients mostly seek the fully equipped version: depending on the market, the Lauréate model accounts for 60 to 80% of the sales.
The Lauréate version of the new Dacia Logan MCV features a new dashboard that was inaugurated on the Sandero hatchback. The design of the new door panels confer the binnacle a modern shape due to the more ergonomic handles and elegant trims. The information displayed on the dashboard is easy to read and the controls are ergonomically positioned.
The steering arm is height-adjustable, allowing the driver to optimize his position. Rear visibility for the Lauréate version was improved due to the specific form of the headrests (for all back seats that are all inclinable in a wider angle range).
