Loading ...The SMEs are the first to be affected by the internationals financial crisis but these can easily adjust to the new tendencies of the market, the secretary general of the Romanian Businesspeople’s Association (AOAR), Cristian Parvan told.
“The SMEs must apply the crisis management. The SMEs’ advantage is the fact they are flexible structures with a low number of employees. Thus, they can adjust fast”, said Cristian Parvan.
As to the disadvantages of SMEs, the secretary general of AOAR said these “are the first losers if they need crediting, but, in the current context, they are not the only ones with problems in terms of obtaining loans”.
As to the corruption the Romanian business environment is facing, the AOAR official said “the red tape in Romania induces inevitably the idea there is an opportunity cost. The businessperson remarks they have to choose between the profit they can make by doing business correctly and the profit made after the payment of fines, if they do business dishonestly”.
The AOAR official participated on October 20 in the conference dubbed ‘Public-Private Partnership for Responsibility, Integrity and Transparency in Economy’, organized by International Development Law Organization (ODLO).
