Loading ...The Romexpo exhibition complex in Bucharest hosted 23-26 October the 20th edition of the autumn edition of Romania’s Tourism Fair.
As many as 250 companies from 19 countries – Austria, Bulgaria, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Liechtenstein, Great Britain, Macedonia, Moldova, Holland, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey and Hungary –attended the event.

Travel agencies, tour-operators, airlines, insurance companies and banks helped the visitors choose a destination for the forthcoming holiday season.
In this edition of the Fair, the Ministry for SMEs, Commerce, Tourism and Liberal Trades has an exhibition space of over 550 sqm for presenting the tourist offers of the winners of the pilot-project “Excellence European Destinations”, tourism professional and employers’ associations, and public institutions that have a role in implementing and managing the tourism projects financed with structural funds.
In this edition of the Fair, the Ministry for SMEs, Commerce, Tourism and Liberal Trades has an exhibition space of over 550 sqm for presenting the tourist offers of the winners of the pilot-project “Excellence European Destinations”, tourism professional and employers’ associations, and public institutions that have a role in implementing and managing the tourism projects financed with structural funds.
Each development region in Romania will receive 24 sqm to display within the stand. Furthermore, each region will be represented not only by the travel agencies and tour operators, but also by the representatives of the local governments.
The first day of the Fair is devoted to Transylvania (centre-west region). Shows performed by artists from regions such ad Oltenia (south), Ardeal (centre), Banat (west) or Maramures (north) will be held daily.
