Goodman opens office in Romania

Goodman real estate developer of industrial and office spaces, on November 5 opened a regional office in Romania and appointed Muler Onofrei as the local general manager, reads a press release issued by the company.
 
The Goodman group currently operates all over Europe through 24 subsidiaries, owning and managing more than 240,000 square meters of storage spaces in various Central and Eastern European countries – Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
 
The group has identified Romania, the second largest country in Central and Eastern Europe,as a significant opportunity for it because of a rising economy, a large consumer  market, well trained labour and increasingly better infrastructures.
For starters, Goodman will focus on developing high-quality storage spaces in Bucharest City and the environs.
 
With assets under its management worth 11.4 billion euros and 371 properties in its portfolio, Goodman is one of the largest real estate groups in the world. The group has more than 1,200 employees working at 39 offices in 19 countries. In Europe, Goodman is operating offices in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Turkey.
