Ploiesti Company (southern Romania) in the first nine months of 2008 registered a net profit of 97.372 million lei, some 4.3 times more than in the same period of 2007, according to data supplied by Rasdaq.
The company’s turnover went up from 198.672 million lei over January-September 2007, to 238.596 million lei in 2008.
The company’s revenues totalled 351.327 million lei (plus 58.65%) while the expenses 235.809 million lei (plus 21%).
Conpet has been operating for over 100 years the National Transport System of Oil, Gasoline and Liquid Ethane through pipes.
The company’s shareholders are the State Assets Realization Authority (AVAS) (58.7162%), Proprietatea Fund (20.0568%), SIF Muntenia (8.9208%) and other individuals and companies (12.3062%).
The company’s revenues have been traded on Rasdaq market since 2004.
