Loading ...The Ministry of Development, Public Works and Housing (MDPL) on November 19 launched an open call for project proposals related to the infrastructure and development of the business environment in 13 cities, for which it has assigned some 248.51 million euros under the Regional Operational Programme (Regio), MDPL announced.
The projects designed for the rehabilitation of the urban infrastructure and the improvement of city services, including public transport (urban public infrastructure, transport and population mobility, world cultural heritage – UNESCO-, national and local heritage in the urban area), the sustainable development of the business environment, rehabilitation of the social infrastructure could be financed based on the integrated urban development plans.
This open call refers to the 13 cities/municipalities included in the category of urban development poles by the Government Ordinance no. 998/2008, in which most investments are financed through community and national programmes; they are Arad, Baia Mare, Bacau, Braila, Galati, Deva, Oradea, Pitesti, Ramnicu-Valcea, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Suceava and Targu Mures.
Eligible applicants for this intervention area are the local public authorities in the 13 urban development poles, their partnerships concluded with the county authorities or intercommunity development associations they are part of.
Financing applications can be submitted to the seven Regional Development Agencies as of December 2.
