Romania, along with another 14 European financing countries, was invited to take part in the Coordination Committee of the European Public Sector Awards (EPSA) 2009, National Agency for Public Servants (ANFP) chairman Andras Szakal announced when attending EPSA – Info Day Romania, on Wednesday.
'The National Agency for Public Servants (ANFP) as Romania's representative backs up the initiative and pays a special attention to the requirement of informing the public institutions and the authorities so that the good practices having real results, should become as visible as possible. EPSA 2009 brings together innovators and performers of the European civil sector. The goal of this European initiative is to capitalize these experiences transparently, easily and usefully for the public,' ANFP official said.
On EPSA -Info Day Romania, Szakal urged the public institutions and authorities to lodge projects and vie in the European Public Sector Award 2009, adding that he is willing to encourage an as wider participation as possible, so that the good practices implemented in Romania that have shown real results here, should become visible at the European level and be worth for other public administrations to follow.
