Loading ...A poll conducted by the Company of Sociological Research and Branding (CCSB) shows that the current coalition made up of the Liberal Democratic Party (PD-L) and the Alliance between the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and the Conservative Party (PC) is regarded as being the most appropriate solution for government. According to the above-mentioned study, 31 percent of the subjects pointed to this solution as being the most appropriate one for creating the government, whereas 20 percent think that a coalition made up of PD-L and the National Liberal Party (PNL) would be the solution for government.
On the other hand, 12 percent of the interviewed said that the most appropriate to create the Cabinet would be a coalition made up of PNL and PSD+PC. Quite remarkable is the high percentage of subjects that did not answer this question or said they did not know: 37 percent. The study mentioned before also illustrates the attitude of the citizens to the ruling coalition. Thus, when asked "To what extent do you agree or not to the political coalition between PD-L and the PSD+PC Alliance for creating Romania's Government?" most subjects, 58 percent, said they agreed.
28 of the polled voiced disagreement to the current coalition whereas 14 percent said they did not know or preferred not to answer. The poll was conducted by CCSB over February 21-24 on a sample of 1,131 persons. The study in question is conducted every month and watches the evolution of the Romanians' perception of the political and social life in Romania. The sample, which was validated on the basis of the National Statistics Institute data taken form the Statistic Yearbook and of the censuses carried out in 2002, has a tolerated error of 3 percent at a 95 percent probability level.
