„I am ready to negotiate each and any of the employees” or trade unions' grievances, but, at the same time, I am urging them to reasonability because nobody can invent miraculous solutions given that the current economic and financial state is quite complicated. In the current context, we should join our forces to find out the best solutions” said Sarbu.
He added that he hoped his constructive dialogue with the trade unions will continue. „I want to remind the trade unions that the Labour Ministry will always use dialogue as the main tool for problem resolution, including wage problems.
Although I believe the trade unions' grievances to be justified, I do not believe bitter competition between various trade union confederations for supremacy in this field is doing much good now,” said Sarbu. Sarbu on Saturday visited the village of Vutcani, Vaslui County, which Electoral College win in last November's general election secured him a seat in the Chamber of Deputies. Sarbu opened there his first local constituency office.
