Loading ...The good ruling represents an obligation of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and PD-L (Democrat Liberal Party) and the relation with President Traian Basescu in the outlook of presidential elections is another topic, said on Monday at the end of the meeting of the National Standing Bureau, the PSD leader Mircea Geoana, referring to the recent statements made by Romanian President Traian Basescu.
He underscored that social-democrats will focus in view to a good ruling. 'We have to divide off things… We will focus in view to a good ruling , we'll carry out our duty of left-wing party in a difficult moment for the country and I am confident this will be beneficial for Romania's population,' said Mircea Geoana.
Asked whether the biting retorts between PD-L and PSD and Cotroceni might harm at a certain moment the ruling Coalition, Geoana stressed that his party would observe the Partnership for Romania. 'As long as we'll be equal partners and we'll be treated with respect and deference, we'll act accordingly. I believe at present the ruling is following the good path,' said Mircea Geoana.
