The 24 countries, which have so far announced their participation, will compete ‘in an open system' with two fighters in a team, a girl and a boy.
Romania will be represented by Simona Niculescu and Octavian Gutu. For the event Romania's team will train for 10 days.
The first European Championship ever held in Romania occurred in 2008 in Turnu Severin, over Aug. 7-11.
