Loading ...Over 20 companies of Romania and Israel attend the 10th edition of the Romania-Israel Hi-Tech Business Cooperation Forum, which has started on Wednesday in Bucharest and it is trying to establish a strong bond between the two states in the filed of information technology.
Attending the forum was Romanian Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Gabriel Sandu, Ambassador of Israel to Romania, David Oren, and Chairman of the Romanian-Israeli Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nasty Vladoiu.

In the opening speech the Romanian communications minister said that by the end of 2009 a strategy in the IT sector will be devised called 'Digital Romania.' Minister Sandu also approached the issue of unemployment in the period of crisis. 'It is essential we keep jobs in 2009. If we manage to do this and I refer to the IT sector, then I can say we met our goals in this difficult period,' said the Minister of Communications.
The Romania-Israel Hi-Tech Business Forum held in Bucharest is organized by Globus Gate Group with the support of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCTI), Romanian-Israeli Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Israel's Embassy in Bucharest. At present, according to the latest information provided by the Romanian Ministry of Communications and information Technology, over 30 percent of the investments which Israel is running in Romania are in the sector of communications and information technology.
