Speaker Anastase and Senate’s Vice -President Dan Voiculescu meet President Tadic

Chamber of Deputies Speaker Roberta Anastase and Senate's Vice-President Dan Voiculescu meet Serbia's President Boris Tadic, at the Bucharest -based Parliament's  Palace,  on  Friday  and  were  discussing  about  supporting  Serbia  in  seeking  EU membership.
 
'It was a good meeting when we pointed to Romania's support to Serbia on its European roadmap,  on  one  hand.  Likewise,  we  were  talking  about  the  requirement  of  investing  in the infrastructure so that we should succeed in helping our own countries with overcoming the crisis, but also with the energy independence of the whole area and using, in the long run, the European corridor that the Danube represents,' Speaker Anastase told.
 
The Chamber of Deputies official added she and Serbia's President Boris Tadic who was paying a state visit to Romania, were also talking about the soccer match     between Romania and Serbia due in Constanta (Romanian Black Sea port), on Saturday.
'We reciprocally wished a nice soccer play for tomorrow , but obviously each voiced hope for winning,' Anastase stressed.
 
Serbia's President Boris Tadic and Romania's President Traian Basescu met early on Friday. President Tadic will go to Constanta on the second day of his visit, when he is to visit the port's facilities and he will be presented economic cooperation opportunities and he will attend the Romania vs. Serbia work up qualifier in the evening.
