Loading ...The list of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), a partner in the ruling coalition, with the candidates in this year's European election will comprise 46 names and the candidates will be PSD members exclusively that also belong to the MEP group of the European Socialists, PSD chief Mircea Geoana said on Monday.
He mentioned that as far as the candidates such as national leader of the National Initiative Party (PIN) Lavinia Sandru and members of the Conservative Party (PC), a former coalition partner in last November's parliamentary election, they will be discussed these days in order to find a commonly accepted solution.
Geoana also said the the final list of the PSD candidates in this June's European election will be submitted to the PSD National Executive Committee, scheduled to meet on April 2.
Opening the list are Adrian Severin; Rovana Plumb, the nominee of the party's women organisation and Daciana Sarbu, the nominee of the PSD youth organisation.
