Premier Emil Boc: Jordan and Romania must further intensify their cooperation relations

Jordan and Romania have to intensify their cooperation links by developing joint projects in mutual interest fields, as infrastructure, agriculture, education and renewable energy, stated Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc on the occasion of his meeting with His Majesty King Abdullah II, the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on Monday (April 6) at Victoria Palace (Government's headquarters).
 
According to a release, the two officials appreciated the excellent cooperation between the two states, both at the political dialogue level and at the commercial exchanges one and voiced hope that the good relations will also continue in the future.
As well, the two sides convened to continue their cooperation in the field of the training of Jordanian youth in highly education institutions in Romania.
 
Premier Emil Boc gave assurances to the high guest that Romania, as an European Union member state and a member of the North-Atlantic Alliance, is to support Jordan's relations with these organizations, the Government's Press Office also underlined in its release.
 
Attending the meeting there were Minister of Public Finance Gheorghe Pogea, Minister of Foreign Affairs Cristian Diaconescu, Minister of Economy Adriean Videanu, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Ilie Sarbu and Minister of Health Ion Bazac.
The Jordanian delegation also included Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Suhair Al-Ali, as well as the Ambassador of Jordan to Romania, Rasem Hashem.
