The Government of the Republic of Moldova has announced on Wednesday (April 8) it decided at an extraordinary meeting to set visa rules for the Romanian nationals by a Resolution to take force on Thursday, April 9.
According to the draft Resolution unveiled by Moldovan Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Andrei Stratan, such a decision was taken as a result of the events in the last days that pose a danger to the constitutional order of the Republic of Moldova and also in order to defend the state of law.
Prime Minister Zinaida Greceanii stressed, in turn, that the draft act is absolutely necessary amid the current circumstances, since the events in the last days endanger the Republic of Moldova's statehood.
