China interested in developing economic relations with Romania

China is interested in developing the economic relations with Romania, ambassador Liu Zengwen said in the western city of Deva on Thursday, during a one -day visit he is paying to the county of Hunedoara. 'There are many businessmen in China who wish to come to Romania to invest here.
 
The relations between our two countries are good and we have a tradition (in this respect – editor's note)', the Chinese ambassador said.
During the meeting with Hunedoara County Council chairman Mircea Molot, ambassador Liu Zengwen said the volume of the Chinese investments in Romania totalled 400 million dollars at the end of last year.
 
The Chinese businessmen's investments in Deva amount to 20 million euros, by Eurosport DHS company, which is the biggest bicycle factory in Southeastern Europe.
'Deva is like a window of China as regards the investments made in a friendly country', the ambassador stressed. Molot asked his  guest to lobby for  attracting other  Chinese  investors  to the  county of Hunedoara and voiced the authorities' readiness to support the business development.
