Loading ...PM Emil Boc and the members of his Cabinet reviewed, on Tuesday, at a meeting of the inter-ministerial committee for the management of European funds, that met at Victoria governmental Palace, the situation of the projects financed from European funds, which have been submitted, approved and contracted and of the payments made over Dec 22, 2008 March 31, 2009.
According to a press release of the Government, the head of Government found out some growth in the pace of approval of the contracts financed with European Funds and asked the members of the Cabinet, which are managing European funds to make efforts for filling the gap between the number of projects approved and the number of projects signed.
According to a report presented, over Dec 22, 2008 – March 31, 2009, a total of 1,030 projects have been submitted, worth a total of 9,588 million lei. From them, approved until the end of March, there were 740, worth 3,223 million lei and contracted were 458 projects totalling 3,103 million lei, reads the press release. Boc also asked the ministers present at the meeting to draw up a situation of the signing of the contracts for each ministry, in order to verify the stage of their implementation at local level.
