Romania notifies OSCE about Republic Moldova breach of freedom of expression

Romania has notified OSCE representative for mass -media freedom, calling him to investigate the actions of breaching the freedom of expression in the case of Romanian  journalists  present in the  Republic  of  Moldova,  announced on  Thursday Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Cristian Diaconescu.
According to some data,  to be verified, at least a journalist was the victim of police violence, whereas another could not film in Balti, city 150 km. north-east of Chisinau.
 
As well, in the past days, several foreign journalists, Romanians  included, claimed their access to the Republic of Moldova was barred. Foreign journalists who could not enter the Republic of Moldova are from France Presse, Associated Press, EPA and Reuters.
 
The  journalists  were  returned  from  various  border  crossing  points  under  a  series  of administrative pretexts.
Organization "Reporters without borders" condemned on Thursday the fact that the journalists with Romanian citizenship, as well as some other foreign journalists were not allowed to enter the Republic of Moldova.
