The Romanian citizens who want to travel to the Republic of Moldova need a visa, as of April 9, warns the Romanian Foreign Ministry.
The visas will be issued by the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Bucharest, in Alexandru Street 40, as well as from the Consular department, of Bulevardul Eroilor 8.
President of the Republic of Moldova Vladimir Voronin said, on Wednesday, that at the origin of the turmoil in Chisinau are some forces from Romania. He said that ambassador of Romania in the Republic of Moldova Filip Teodorescu has been declared persona non-grata and has 24 hours available for quitting the territory of Moldova.
The Ministry for Foreign Affairs and for European Integration of the Republic of Moldova declared on Wednesday, persona non-grata, ambassador Filip Teodorescu and minister counselor of the Romanian Embassy Gabriel Gaborean, and the government decided, in an extraordinary meeting, the introduction of visas for the Romanian citizens, as of Thursday (April 9).
