Romanian embassy in Rome has given assistance to 38 quake hit Romanians

The Romanian Embassy in Rome has so far given consular assistance to 38 Romanians hit by the earthquake that shook central Italy early this week, the Romanian foreign ministry said in a release on Friday.
Romanian ambassador to Italy Razvan Rusu on Friday attended the state funeral of the quake victims held at the parade ground of the School of Finance Guard Inspectors in L'Aquila.
 
The Romanian Embassy in Rome is in constant contact with the local authorities and it is communicating the Romanian foreign ministry new information about the Romanian nationals. Three embassy diplomats have been in the disaster-hit area since April 7 in order to give consular assistance to the Romanians in difficulty. Five Romanians were killed in the earthquake that hit Italy on Monday.
