Loading ...The Romanian Radio Broadcasting Company (SRR) denounced the arbitrary decisions of the regime in Chisinau, of infringing the free movement right, by sending a letter to international and national organizations and forums to allow its journalists to inform the listeners on the evolution of events in the Republic of Moldova.
SRR signals as totally unacceptable the treatment applied to its special correspondents, in journalistic mission to the Republic of Moldova, where they observed the deontology.
"We rally to the Romanian media institutions stands and public protest, denouncing Chisinau authorities' refusal to allow the access of several journalists on the Republic of Moldova territory, as well as to the condemnation of these decisions by the international organizations, such as "Reporters without borders", which said the Chisinau regime obstructions were unjust and dangerous because they infringed the freedom of the press", a release informs.
SRR took this stance after Catalin Gombos, special reporter and sound technician Laurentiu Stangaciu were banned on Wednesday to enter the Republic of Moldova and correspondent Cristina Dumitrescu saw her accreditation rejected by the Foreign Ministry in Chisinau without explanations.
