Base salaries and pensions unafeccted by loan agreement with IMF

The base salaries and pensions are not affected by the loan agreement with the IMF, PM Emil Boc   said Tuesday before the joint budget finance commissions in Parliament.
"The base salaries and pensions are not affected by the agreement with the IMF. Pensions will go up 5 percent   while the minimum social pension has been in force as of April 1st.
 
It stands at 3 million old lei and will go up to 3.5 million old lei on October 1st. We will not modify the flat tax. the VAT is  not  modified either.  The  contribution to social securities  will not  be  increased," Boc explained.
The PM also said that "the adoption of the normative act of adjusting the state budget was made taken into account major axis such as the single salary law, the fiscal responsibilities and the reform of the pension system.
