The ministry recommends those who have registered on the rolls of another EU country to get information from the relevant local authorities with respect to the polling station set up by the country they live in and where they should cast their vote.
By virtue of the right of a citizen of a EU member state, the Romanians can vote in the June 7 elections for the European Parliament for the candidates of the EU state where they live, the release explained.
The Foreign Ministry said more information referring the conduct of the elections for the European Parliament in the EU states can be found on the ministry’s Web site at the section on the Euro-polls: http://www.mae.ro/index.php?unde=doc&id=38838 as well as on the Web sites of the Romanian diplomatic missions from abroad.
