The Romanian citizens who put their names on the electoral rolls in a European Union member state no longer have the right to register on the Romanian rolls in order to vote in the elections for the European Parliament in Romania, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a release on Sunday.

The ministry recommends those who have registered on the rolls of another EU country to get information from the relevant local authorities with respect to the polling station set up by the country they live in and where they should cast their vote.

By virtue of the right of a citizen of a EU member state, the Romanians can vote in the June 7 elections for the European Parliament for the candidates of the EU state where they live, the release explained.
