Loading ...The Authority for State Assets Recovery (AVAS) received Alenia Aeronautics’ confirmation that the negotiations on the privatization of the aircraft maker Avioane Craiova would continue, AVAS informs.
AVAS received a letter from the Alenia Aeronautics officials on Thursday, May 21 saying that they intend to continue the privatization process of the aircraft maker in Craiova (southern Romania).
In response to AVAS decision to extend by 15 days the validity of the privatization bid, Alenia Aeronautics promised to lodge the final improved and irrevocable bidding by Wednesday May 27, as AVAS claimed.

At the same time, Alenia showed readiness to continue the negotiations with AVAS starting in the second half of June after conducting a new analysis of the investments the Avioane Craiova needs in order to meet the military component requirement the business plan proposed.
