Candidate of the ruling Democratic Liberal Party (PD-L) in the europarliamentary elections Oana Antonescu says in a interview given to Agerpres that the procedures of accessing European funds must be simplified.
“One of the projects I want to support in the European Parliament would be the drawing of European funds, let us have European funds in our pockets, not on paper. The European funds are maybe the only sure source of revenues at this time of economic crisis.
These funds must reach the smallest town hall in Romania and the less experienced SME,” said Oana Antonescu.
Another priority of her future mandate as an MEP would be agriculture, as Oana Antonescu
puts it.
In the opinion of the Democrat Liberal candidate the subsidy per hectare must grow quickly to the minimum values of 200 euros.
“The Romanian peasant will not be able to lead a better life and the Romanian farmer will not be able to be competitive if he is not treated like the ones in other European states,” said Oana Antonescu.
