‘I believe this is a purely electoral initiative. It does not have the necessary economic support. I think that, beyond the fantasy about supporting the youth, the programme does not offer any practical chance, even if we were to take it seriously.
This is a programme for the future launched during an electoral campaign.
And, probably, it stands the same chance as all the electoral pledges of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and the Democratic-Liberal Party (PD-L) in the last autumn’s election campaign (…)
Young people are standing no chance with this Government, and neither do the elderly,’ Antonescu argued.
The PNL chief toured on Saturday the central western county of Hunedoara, accompanying PNL candidate in the June 7 European election Ben-Oni Ardelean, number seven on the party’s list, on an electioneering tour.
In the morning, he visited the cities of Deva and Hunedoara, and was scheduled to meet PNL voters and sympathizers in the Jiu Valley and the town of Hateg in the afternoon.
