State secretary with the Ministry of Regional Development and Housing Razvan Murgeanu on Wednesday signed in Focsani (eastern Romania) two financing contracts by the Regional Operational Programme, worth 6 million euros.
The two contracts are aimed at upgrading, expanding and equipping the inclusive school Mihalceni and at restoring and preserving the mausoleums of Focsani, Marasesti, Marasti and Soveja, worth 2.18 million lei (560,848.68 euros), respectively 21.1 million lei (5.43 million euros).
‘The contracts signed today are very important because they are an example and an alternative to the numerous infrastructure projects submitted within the Axis 2. We are glad that the beneficiaries from Vrancea have understood the importance of the development of projects on social and educational infrastructure or on the restoration and capitalisation of the cultural-historical heritage,’ said Murgeanu.
