The Public Finance Ministry attracted, on Tuesday, about 1.26 billion lei through a government bond issue with discount, auctioned through Romania’s Central Bank (BNR), by 749.671 million lei more than expected.
The bonds are due repayable one month later, and the average yield the issue was auctioned at amounted to 10.21 percent, while the average discount rate stood at 10.12 percent.
The issue grossed 2 billion lei and the demand of the 13 bidding banks totaled 3.466 billion lei.
