Head of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) Mircea Geoana on Tuesday said he supported the spacing out of debts of the state companies facing difficulties, as measure aimed to boost economy. Another proposal is the completion of the tenant law.
Both issues were highlighted during the Tuesday meeting of the Govt coalition.
“We believe that, in order to improve the financial situation of Romanian companies, the Finance Ministry can resort, for a certain period of time, to the spacing out of the state company debts (…)” Geoana explained.
He also said that the Social Democrats have asked for the completion of the tenant law.
“It is unnatural, for a law approved by the Romanian Parliament and promulgated, not to be implemented because of a suspected delay at the Justice Ministry,” he said.
