Loading ...More than 1.17 million euros were allocated to energy projects in the framework of Sectoral Operational Programme Competitiveness and Employment (ECC/SOP), accounting for almost 40 percent of the total allocated budget for this programme, the Ministry of Economy (M F) informs in a release.
As many as 27 operations of a total of 35 were launched on the first four priority axis till June 5, 2009. The overall ECC/SOP budget is of approximately three billion euros.
Total value of asked funds for the 3,072 submitted projects is in excess of 9.711 million lei, according to the Monitoring Committee (MC) for ECC/SOP.
The Monitoring Committee approved the Annual Implementation Report of ECC/SOP for 2008, to be submitted till the end of June to the European Commission (EC).
Present in the Monitoring Committee meeting, Alessandro Rainoldi, EC representative, noted that the value of submitted projects exceeds for the majority of operations the allocations for the launched bids and underlined the importance of the structural funds which can help economy, especially during this crisis period.
