Any ministers will be dismissed on the very day when the Prosecutor’s Office or the Parliament ask a criminal investigation against them, PM Emil Boc said in Fete sti (southern Romania), on Friday.
‘Any minister, the Prosecutor’s Office or the Parliament ask a criminal prosecution against, will be dismissed on them same day. By then, the authorities shall do their duty and investigate.
The Parliament shall set up commissions and the Prosecutor’s Office shall ask documents.
At the moment when one of the state authorities claim the start of a criminal pursuit against a minister, on the same day, the minister will be dismissed and nobody is above the law,’ PM Boc said.
Romania’s Prime Minister also stressed he awaited the results of the criminal investigations in progress.
The Government will make the assessment and the conclusions will be made public, PM Boc answered when asked whether Youth Minister was a good manager given the current austerity conditions.
A Parliamentary Commission is currently investigating Youth and Sports Minister Monica Iacob Ridzi related to the money spent on the organization of the Youth Day, this year.
