The hydro electrical and the wind power will drop by 4.5 percent in 2009 compared to 2008 and will total 1.41 million tonnes of oil equivalent (toe), reads the National Prognosis Commission (CNP) energy balance forecast over 2009-2013.
The hydro electrical and the wind power will start growing slightly starting next year and will attain 1.427 million toe in 2010 and 1.445 million toe in 2011.
The growth will continue up to 1.467 million toe in 2012, and to 1.492 million toe in 2013.
On the other hand, the nuclear energy production is expected to register a slight growth of round 0.2 percent, namely up to 2.75 million toe, this year, a level to be kept till 2013.
