“Following this visit I assure you that, starting from now, you will have a partner in me as for the environment protection policies. (…)

I was very pleased to assess that Dacia staff is engaged in the climatic changes issues. It is the best that, here, technologies aimed at cutting the carbon dioxide emissions are implemented”, stated the Minister at the end of his visit.

In his turn, Francois Fourmont showed his readiness to continue his collaboration with the Environment Ministry in the future, as well.

“I am glad, Mr. Minister, that you do not regret this investment and I am convinced we will continue this partnership”, said Fourmont.

Since 2000, when the plant was taken over by Renault Group, the value of investments in environment protection made on Mioveni industrial platform exceeded 17 million euros.
