‘Prince Charles is very interested in Romania. He loves to come here, he believes Romania is a beautiful country and in order to maintain the beauty of the rural area, we need agriculture.
We’ll focus on the maintenance of the population in the area, because people make up the rural area and in order to do this, we have to have a dynamic and positive economy in villages.
This is the criterion we used to select the counties,’ said advisor to Prince Charles, Jermey Staniforth.
According to the adviser on foreign relations with the Local Council of Bistrita Nasaud, Remus Lungu, the English guest showed interest for the projects which the county management aims to unfold in the area of the accumulation lake near Colibita, a future mountain resort, in the spa Sangeorz Bai, but also in the former mining area Rodna.a
