The participants in the meeting also attended by Foreign Minister Cristian Diaconescu approached topics and projects of interest for Romania on the EU agenda, starting from the priorities of the Swedish chairmanship of the EU Council, in terms of the European policies and in the perspective of the institutional changes generated by the fact that the Lisbon Treaty might come in force.
Likewise, several ministries and the governmental agencies presented their assessments on relevant issues.
The meeting was part of the MAE’s permanent inter-institutional dialogue aimed at drawing up and promoting Romania’s stances in the EU and strengthening the bilateral relations with the EU member states.
