In July 2008, there were registered 3,758 Dacia cars in France, while there were 25,130 cars registered in January-July last year.
The carmaker’s (based din Mioveni, southern Romania) market shares climbed by 1.3 percent in July, compared with the same month a year before, up to 3 percent, and by 0.5 percent January through July, compared with the same interval last year, up to 2.1 percent.
France is the second largest market for Dacia, after Germany, according to the statistics offered by the Association of European Carmakers, with the Romanian market ranking 3rd.
