Silver and gold medallist in 2007 and in 2008 respectively in Cairo, Cosmin Gheorghe won his second gold medal this year. Bogdan Cristian Tataroiu won Romanian team’s second gold medal succeeding a spectacular personal progress, after winning the silver in 2007 and the bronze in 2008.
The silver medal went to Marius Dragus and the bronze one to Andrei Paul Puni, this year.
The gold and silver medallists are students at the Bucharest-based International High School of Informatics, and Puni, the winner of the bronze medal this year comes from the Al Papiu Ilarian National College of Targu Mures (northern Romania).
As many as 305 students, from 83 countries, vied in the International Olympiad in Informatics, this year.
